Look no further! Consider dropping the kids off at Oak Knoll for our vacation week discovery-days! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday February 16,17,18,19, we will offer four, one-day drop off programs for grades K – 5. Each day will include hikes in the field, mad science, stories and music, art and craft projects, messy fun, and outdoor games and activities. Themes and activities will vary by day, so you can sign your child up for one day or all four without repetition. Please pack lunch for your child. We will provide a nut free snack and water for snack time. Family Owl Prowl Wednesday, February 17th 7:00-8:30pm Come explore Oak Knoll after dark for this program to learn about owls and their habitats. Do all owls "hoot" – are they wise, can they turn their heads all the way around? How are they adapted for their nocturnal or crepuscular lives (and what does crepuscular mean, anyway?) Come find out and tour the sanctuary with us, listening for these nighttime inhabitants. Following the hike, come in and warm up by the fire with cocoa and cookies!
