Peter Ham, accomplished lecturer, author and a licensed mental health counselor will once again offer his insight and expertise on the subject of communicating with individuals who are diagnosed with a progressive cognitive decline. Ham is the featured speaker on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 6:30PM until 7:30PM, at Community VNA, located at 10 Emory Street in Attleboro. His presentation, which is FREE and open to the public will begin by addressing the differences between normal aging and the abnormal aging process.
This program is helpful to those who have personal concerns about their own memory health as well as for those who are experiencing a cognitive decline with a loved one.
Mr. Ham has been providing psychiatric services to the elderly for over 26 years. He is an active participant in the Alzheimer’s Association and currently leads an early stage Alzheimer’s support group for individuals and their care partners.
